They are 20 blocks each. I used 80 print squares, 80 neutral squares, and 20 of the dark central squares to make the original 9-patches. Thanks, everyone, for the kind words.

Thanks Annaquilts for articulating my thoughts. These quilts don't look like 'make do'--they look well planned and beautifully crafted.
