Default Fractured Quilt Wall Hangings... What do you think about them?

These are two fractured quilt wall hangings I just finished making. Instead of simply adding borders or binding to the squared up quilts, I decided to live dangerously and cut wavy edges with my rotary cutter instead. I tried two different methods of adding the backing/bindings. On the Poppy Quilt I put the backing face down on the top before making the wavy cuts. Sewed all but a small section around the edges and then turned it inside out to get a non-binding look. On the Sunflower Quilt I used bias binding to add contrast and highlight the sunflower. How do you think they look?

What wonderful wall hangings. I love how you did the edges! Can you tell us more about the fractured technic?
