A Friend Asked Me If I Knew the Name of this Quilt Pattern

This is a very nice quilt. It wouldn't be very hard to make a pattern for this. I don't recall ever seeing that particular design before. It would be a great signature quilt with the lights and darks reversed.

I love the quilt. It reminds me a little bit of sticks of gum

Quite unique, didn't have geometry or I'd know the name of the two triangles that sandwich the, don't know the name of the rectangle either that is angled out on each end! Someone that has a math brain or teaches math should know. Help!!!!

It is a scalene right triangle- scalene= all sides are different lengths; right because it has a right (90 degree) angle.
Isosceles has two equal sides and equilateral has three equal sides.
And the four sided shape in the center is a parallelogram- opposite sides are parallel to each other like a rectangle, but it has no right angles.

The triangles are right triangles, b/c of the 90 degree angle at the corner... The other pieces is a parallelogram as the sides are parallel.
It's a lovely quilt. He's fortunate to have it!

I went to Google and did not find anything like this pattern. I don't believe the Slanted Diamond Pattern is the pattern. But I love this quilt. If anyone decides to make a pattern or knows the name please PM me as I would love a copy. This would be a great Man Cave quilt.
