    8-year-old with a smile!

Our Great Granddaughter came for a visit over Spring Break and I decided to teach her the basics of sewing. She picked it right up. This is her with her first quilt. She did every stitch and all of the quilting. One proud and happy little girl!Name: IMG_6578 (640x360).jpg

She is beautiful and so is her quilt. I bet that the two of you will share many more days in the sewing room.

Sweet! I too love to see young ones learning skills and traditions from their senior family members. It makes for happy memories and ensures these fine arts never become lost.

You started her at the right age - kids really do 'get it' at this age and are truly proud of their accomplishments. You can see that in the big, beautiful smile that she's beaming to the world!
