May your wonderful gift offer her some comfort during this difficult time. Unfortunately, it is a sadness she will have the rest of her life...birthdays, holidays and celebrations. My husband has lost two of his sons. : (

Oh! I'm so sorry for her loss. You are a good friend and I'm sure she will love the sentiment for years to come.

Oh how I love that saying. Is it from a quote somewhere?

My heart breaks for parents who lose a child, no greater pain..
The quilt is a wonderful gesture, the sentiment is perfect. I would much rather have a quilt than flowers.

So sorry for your friend. Lost my 15 yr old daughter in 1993 so I know how hard it is. Prayers for her and the family and lovely quilt, which I sure will bring her comfort.
