I made this for a house warming gift for a friend....I messed up on the rick rack sections...they should have one more angle at the ends....I don't like it but I'm not redoing...I kno she will like it just the way it is. Now...I wish I could do some beautiful feathering on it!!!!

As Julia Childs said if there is noone in the kitchen with you while your cooking how do they know you made a mistake only you will know. Besides I like it and would be honored to receive it just like your friend will!!!

It's very nice! Why can't you do feathers? Just get an open feather template and follow the lines. That way there isn't any backtracking so no thread piling up. If I can do it, you can do it!

What is an open feather template and where can I get one? I will surely give it a try. Can I use it on a quilt frame with a mid arm?

Looks great like it is and only you know how it should have been. She will love it.
