I saw a rug on Moda site but didn't have enough strips to make it their way.....so I decided to make it MY WAY......
They are 2 1/2 x 8 in and then sewn together..... Took a piece of muslin [ measured the space I wanted to cover] and I did the flip and sew method.....Have an extra piece to put over the tub..... I'm going to scotch-guard it 3 times.....
DH said he will have to take his shoes off everytime he goes in the bathroom now!!!! lol lol lol
    Thanks for looking.............
OH!!! the 3rd. picture is me putting on binding......I wrapped it around a paper towel roll and then put it in the sewing machine where the thread goes....Just pull it off as you use it!! Easy Peasy......[My thread is behind on a lg cone holder]

Very nice! I'd probably have to take my shoes off too!

I had to laugh at myself because I looked at the pictures before I read what you wrote. I got to the last picture and thought.... huh? where is the thread? LOL

    Yipppeeee!
You got it done ...... and it looks great!!!!

Too funny that DH is going to take off his shoes now!
Did you end up putting the rubbery shelf liner stuff (whatever you call it?) on the back?

And what a great idea for feeding the binding!!!!!
