    This one needs a bit of mending and cleaning it has a stain on the back but it was laying in a driveway........mine now may use this one nice and soft hand quilted, with a yard tie in center of each block. no binding pressed under and zig zag on edges

    Yes, that is a great find!
    I can never find anything like that, but then again....they don't really have yard sales here.

    What a great find. I love yard sales and love quilts. I just redid 2 old quilt tops for a lady and made them bigger, then I quilted them. They looked pitiful to start with but looked great as a finished product. This one looks to be in pretty good repair. Don't give up. It will look great when finished.

    It's seems so sad that some people don't appreciate the beauty and the amount of time and love it takes to make a quilt like that. But their loss is your gain :mrgreen:

    Just goes to show that there are people out there who just don't 'get it' when it comes to quilts, no appreciation. BUT their loss, YOUR gain.
