Default Geese flying through the trees

My client Rosanne made the quilt top almost 20 years ago. She finally realized she wasn't going to quilt it, so she brought it to me for finishing.

I quilted leaves on it, simple and clean lines. She loves it! Tonight will be chilly here in Pennsylvania, and Rosanne will be cozy under her nice "new" quilt!

Lots of piecing but real simple. And scrappy geese are a wonderful way to use up loads of scraps.

Great job quilting a nice top. I like how she put the strips of foliage fabric between the geese so she didn't have to make the points meet. Very smart. I loved seeing some old friends in her fabric choices too.
