Graduation Quilt for DS
#1
My DS has wanted a pirate quilt for years. I finally got it made for graduation. It is more of a skull & crossbone quilt because a lot of the fabrics that I had collected are now too childish. He helped me pick out the fabrics, but has not seen the finished quilt. He will get it on Thursday before graduation at a family party. Just had to include a picture of him and his beautiful prom date.

Love that quilt!! And your son is such a cutie!!! My boys always loved pirate stuff. Even now my youngest told me he just read a supposedly true story about Captain Kidd called "The Pirate Hunter"- he raved about it!!

Thanks for your kind comments. DS is twelve years younger than DD and has grown up around my quilts. He has always loved every new quilt and has been my biggest supporter. We even made a quilt together for the child catagory in our Quilt Guild Show years ago. We both have a love for turtles, so it has turtle fabric as a main focus. It is still one of my favorites and I use it all the time.
