What a wonderful story and a gorgeous quilt! I really am glad you shared both with us. I just imagined all those devoted friends being together in a quilt group sending off their friend to a new neighborhood in Indiana. Friendship everlasting!

What a fun thread I've stumbled upon here. I live about 30 miles from Elwood and recognize some of those family names. What a treasure you have!
