Default Grandson's quilt picked up

Around the holiday's I went back and forth about sending this to Alaska to my grandson. I knew he would be traveling back down to visit us so I just let him know it was here when he returned. Well, fast forward, here he is yesterday at my house visiting me.

I know he loves it. So it was worth grandmas time to make it for him.

P S He looks unrested because his other grandmother is on her deathbed and that is why he came down.

And another one to boot. Please be kind about my picture. I had been crying.

That is a gorgeous quilt. So nice to have one grandma make him a quilt to help comfort him in this trying time. A bitter sweet visit. Prayers from the gulf to help him and the rest of the family through such trying times.

Oh yes! Both are wonderful, but I adore that turquoise! I'm sorry for his sad time.
(And it's so cool to have a face to your name.)

Very nice. I wouldn't mind knowing the pattern names also.

Add me to the list of wanting the pattern for the first one. Great pattern for a manly or non-girly quilt.
