Could be 'Summer in Antarctica" or ...in the southern hemisphere ... 'cause that's where they live!
How about ditching the "winter scene" fabric and in every other square just use solid white or a snowflake white-on-white and then QUILT a snowflake motif in those areas...
Otherwise, they are cute, cute, CUTE!!!!!!!!!
