Default Green Log Cabin - Stars border

Wanted to share a pic of my green log cabin with stars on the border that my Mom made and hand quilted for me a couple of years ago. This is a queen size, with extra drop and length for pillow tuck. The logs are 1" finished. She made this a few years before I started making quilts and I had NO idea how much time and effort went into making a quilt! I cherish it even more now Thanks for looking!

Oh my goodness it's beautiful. My mother made beautiful quilts, and I didn't really appreciate all the work until I started quilting. My mom hand pieced, and hand quilted hers.

Very beautiful quilt your Mother made and hand quilted for you! I'm sure you will treasure it forever and I hope you have children to pass it down to. It should be kept in the family as long as possible! Quite the treasure!
