I've been having a dickens of a time trying to upload pictures here so I had to email the pictures from my phone to my work computer and resize the photos to upload them. When I try to resize and send from my phone I get an error message.

Beautiful work. What were the specifics of the challenge? I'm asking because I'm looking for a challenge for a guild I belong to.

The challenge is to "be inspired by a master", which for me was a picture by Whistler of his mistress dressed in a white gown standing on a dead animal rug.

Please let me give credit to Leni Wiener who wrote Photo Inspired Art Quilts which is the book I followed. Book no longer in print. What I was concentrating on was deepening my understanding of VALUE. I did pretty good on that but now I should work on FOCUS POINT. 'Cause to me, there's too much emphasis on the a/c ducts vs my GD. Ha, ha, ha.

When you say you're "hooked on this process," I'd like to know what process you're referring to. I have a photo I'd like to convert to a quilt, but I'm not sure of the best process.
