I finally took out one of my projects, that has sat idle for some time.. I didn't have a backing, didn't have money for batting, and didn't have the desire to finish this batik baby sized project.. But, today, needing to cheer myself up, I pulled it out, took a new sheet, and a new flannel sheet that I bought for one dollar each at a thrift store, and I cut them to fit this project, as well as the remainder of the queen sheets to fit another baby quilt to be donated .. I wanted to show ya'll the top itself, as I have yet to figure out a color for the binding strip.. any ideas? I am leaning towards the lighter shade of puple/fuscia since I have some that would fit.. ( the back is a pale yellow )

great baby quilt, the quilt has so many clear colors, I would think any binding would look good.

This is so Beautiful , perfect. If you go with a purple for the binding make sure it is a different shade then the purple you have there in the boarder are you will end up with the Blank Tooth effect. :D

I had not thought about the border versus the binding, Pickles.. thanks, now have to reevaluate if I have any fabric , or enough of anything ... I think it would all blend to much with what I was thinking of using..
