I bought this at an auction a couple of years ago for $10.00 It took two weeks of soaking to make it suitable to live with. Now it is the favorite item on cool nights on my living room couch. It has also been on stage in a play.

I assume it is. I am not really sure. It appears to be. It is hand peiced and hand quilted.

That is beautiful and all those little pieces! It looks hand quilted, I'm so glad it found a home where it is loved.

What did you soak it in for two weeks?

I put it in just normal laundry soap and changed the water every day or two. I also used some color safe bleach. In the shape it was in it could not hurt it. It still has some stains but you have to look for them.
