    Default Hearts n Stacks

I changed the pattern for my DGD's hope chest quilt mid-stream, so I had 4 blocks left over. They sat in my UFO's drawer for a few years until I decided to combine the hearts and little nine patches from there with some Chinese Coins. I backed the quilt with a rich red polar fleece combined with Thermore batting for a very warm large lap quilt. My DN liked an early picture so she is getting it. With the fleece, her blind vet DH should be able to appreciate the quilting. Every "feather" stands out. It isn't a fancy quilt, but it is warm.

It's beautiful! Love the rich colors and the hominess(?) of it. Great job.

Don't know what you consider fancy but I think that's about as fancy and pretty as they get! I love it! Nice design, great colors and no longer a UFO. Can't ask for more.

Are the heart blocks from a book or single pattern? Would you mind telling me if I can find the pattern? Hope you will post a pix of your DGD's quilt, too. Your quilt is beautiful!

That is really pretty and looks like it has been planned that way all along.
