    Yes, it looks identical to my 185J. She definitely is a workhorse and all my sewing is done with her. I have even quilted queen and king size quilts on that little thing! I was lucky and bought mine on an auction 3 years ago for $2!! It has been my main machine ever since.

    Go to:

    Click on Customer Support
    Click on Instruction Manuals
    Enter 185J
    Click on the free download one

    and there it is.

    Sorry, should have checked out the link before I posted it.

    If anyone has an old singer. This is a good place to get the manual for it.
