What about a white on white....or an off white background with tiny gold dots or swirls?

Why not use the red and blue/black. That woould really frame the eagle. Or how about gold and blue/black. I can't tell if the dark is blue or black but gold would work!
get those ideas going!

This is just a picture of it. I don't have the white to make the border. The back of the eagle is gold, but I think blue trim would work to match the border on the side
