I have this UFO that I wanted to finish. I am short the white material to make the sawtooth around the eagle. I tried to match something close, but everything was too white or to dark does anyone have a suggestion of something else I could do around there?

You could tea dye to make the lighter one dark enough to match.

Okay, not so confused now! I wasn't sure why your quilt looked shiny until I realized it was a picture! Could you use a white with a little, little print on it perhaps in red or blue? I'm not sure what I would do!

I would just bind it the way it is. Nice job.

What about a white on white....or an off white background with tiny gold dots or swirls?

Why not use the red and blue/black. That woould really frame the eagle. Or how about gold and blue/black. I can't tell if the dark is blue or black but gold would work!
    get those ideas going!
    peace :D

    That's just a picture, it isn't the real quilt block. . .

This is just a picture of it. I don't have the white to make the border. The back of the eagle is gold, but I think blue trim would work to match the border on the side
