    For me, this is what quilting is all about. My grandmother and great-grandmother made quilts of shirts, hopsacking, woolens and whatever they had. They didn't go to fancy quilt shops to buy "premium" fabrics. They used leftovers and castoffs. From things that were of no longer any use for anything else, they could make something beautiful. Lovely things from nearly nothing. Congratulations! Good work!
