Sula, I'm thinking I might go to the thrift store and find some wool items and just wash them.. That producces felt doesn't it? Or at least a wool that can be appliqued without worrying about the edges. It looks like a really good "in front of the tv at night" project. Oh...and yours would be a great Valentines Day gift too!

I have been told that washing the wool fabric does produce the felted type of wool. The thrift store is an excellant idea. Good luck with your shopping.
