Great idea for rag quilts! Love your fabric and color choices. Thanks for the tips on reinforcing the joining seems and the outer seam. I've made three rag quilts but haven't heard of any problems with them yet. Maybe their owners are too polite to mention it. Thanks for sharing.

Cute!! I'm thinking of making a rag quilt, maybe using up some old jeans. I live in a hot climate, though, so I'm not sure if that would be too much.

But I have a question about rag quilts that I just can't get out of my brain. I know the entire purpose of them is to ravel and get all fluffy. But do they continue to ravel? Has anyone had a quilt just come apart from all this raveling? Or does it stabilize after awhile?
