I whipped up this quilt for a friend of mine that has a Meningioma Brain tumor that after 2 surgeries and Gama Knife Radiation has returned. I just found out yesterday they will be traveling from Vancouver, WA where they live to the Johns Hopkins Meningioma Center in Maryland on the 13th to see what can be done for her.
Any way, the quilting part is my weakness, I am terrible at it. The pattern is called Flim-Flam by Pressed for time Quiltworks. The finished block is 10". I don't think a diagonal stitch across the block will work for this one. It needs something else. I would love suggestions for the quilting on this. My plan was to get it quilted today but here it is 12:40 and I am still trying to figure out how!!! I can FMQ a meander or loop de loop pretty decently but I'm not sure that would do the quilt justice.
What do you think!!!!!

Do large loop de loops then go into a flower then more loops. Its not really hard. Just mark the flowers with chalk or one of those pens with the disappearing ink and if you go outside the lines just ease back in line and when the marks are gone it will look beautiful. Good Luck!

Or a simple leaf design would look nice if the flowers are intimidating for you.
