Now I'm concerned about copyright infringement. As I said in my original post, a friend gave me the pattern; it was hand written with no pictures. She may have gotten the pattern from someone else. You know how that goes. Mia culpa!

And thanks for all your sweet comments!

Merrylouw,
Love this idea, and each bag is terrific!
Didn't think a thing about you and copyright infringement. You'd said you got the pattern from a friend... I assumed she'd given it to you as a gift, or maybe she was done with it, or she just wasn't going to get around to making it, etc...
I think of copyright infringement as you actually copy the pattern, sell it, present it as yours, etc. All happening while the person knowingly is doing it. Of course I'm no copyright attorney...but I didn't at all consider you were "infringing".

Thanks nativetexan, for finding the pattern, too

Regards all,
Kif

I love those bags!

I made just a basic bag from Christmas fabric to wrap my gifts. Then I tied the handles together with ribbon.

You did a wonderful job on the tote bags. Especially like the purple floral one! Thank you for sharing with us!

Nativetexan, you are correct about the pattern. I have made these bags myself using this pattern. They make up quickly and are a really nice size.
