I was wondering if the smaller circle takes focus off the bigger circle on top. I will put 4 circles around the big circle with smaller squares.

I am still doing the rope border. My machine is in the lower right corner.

I'm sorry, but maybe a picture with the quilt (I think it's a quilt, right?) hanging or laying flat on the floor would help me to be better able to give you some advice. :wink: It's hard for me to get a complete idea of your project from the way it is laying.
