You all know that I became obsessed with the fuchsia fabric by Jackie Robinson/Maywood fabrics. Well, here are some photos of a quilt I made in a huge hurry to show my niece how to do fusible interfacing. The blocks are 4 inch squares, the sashings are 2 1/2 inches and ironed onto fusible interfacing. I did some quick stitch in the ditch to anchor it to the backing and batting. Nothing fancy, but my niece got the idea :):) phew...

Nice quilt Cathy M! I love that fuschia fabric too - I used some to make my Valentines cards this year! I just used Seam-A-Seam lite, fussy cut out the flowers into random heart shapes & fused them onto card stock. Then I did a little stitching around the hearts with a lavender metallic thread. It was so easy & everyone loved 'em! (Even tho' I did put the flowers "upside down" in the hearts so they showed off better - LOL)

Beautiful. I love pink & green together, and your white sashing makes it look like it belongs in a garden!

Oh my gosh Cathy, that is gorgeous! I've been dying to see what you were doing with the fuschia fabric. I love how simple the pattern is, because then it allows the fabrics to be the focus, and it really shows the fabrics off beautifully! And i love stitch in the ditch, that's what i do too...well done!!! :) Ok, now i'm just drooling, have to go play with my fuschia fabrics :) :) :)
