    Here is the first shot of my FIRST Trip Around The World Quilt. It currently measures 28 inches across. Am doing it with 3" squares. The next one will be done with smaller squares. I will post updated pictures as I get more done.

    Good going! love your choice of colors! i just finished my first TAW too! i used 5 inch blocks..3 borders..

    Very nice!
    I love this pattern, you can do so many things with it...get such different looks by the placement of your lights and darks.
    I'm doing one in greens, 2.5" squares, hand pieced starting at the center, dark shading to light then back to dark. The corners repeat/contine the center pattern. At the widest point there are 19 squares per side (queen/king size). I'm finally to where the corners go down one square per side each round, so each one goes faster...at 15 per side now...soon to be 14! This one is definitely my favorite so far.

    So far so good! I love your fabric. In fact, I think I used all of those in my bargello. Great minds think alike.
