Smile Keep baby girl warm

Lately I have been working on a few quilts simultaneously but this is the first one I just finished last night. It had to be a quick job, baby girl has just been born. I made it for my DIL to give to a friend. I was so glad I found this panel in the huge stash that was given to me over the past 2 years, so it didn't take long to finish. Thanks for looking

Really Cute!

Did you use a walking foot to quilt it? Also interested in how you marked it.

Yes, I used a walking foot and at the hardware store I had bought some time ago a long piece of timber, like a ruler and that's what I used to make the first cross lines, marked it with one of those pens where the markings disappear when you pass the warm iron over it and then I just marked the following lines on 3"

That is such a cute Shabby Chic baby quilt. I am sure the baby girl will love growing up with this quilt you made. Love that you crosshatch the quilting especially using a diamond pattern.

That's precious, I love the Shabby Chic look. Your grand daughter will love cozying up in your beautiful quilt.
