    I was afraid of bargellos too until I learned it's all strip piecing. I found the book "Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts" by Eileen Wright. This pattern is surf's song. She explains the technique very well and there are pictures as well.

    I don't, generally speaking, like bargello quilts. Honestly, they make me a bit nauseous. This one however, is beautiful! I think the reason yours is so pretty is because you used "patterned" fabric and in my humble opinion that makes all the difference. Beautiful quilt, great job!!!!!
