Hello all I haven't posted anything for a while, though I have been admiring everyone's wonderful projects.
This is a Storm at sea I am making for my DGD's 10th birthday coming up in July. I found the layout on the internet, printed it off and coloured it. I plan to embroider sayings and pictures in the larger squares, eg "wish upon a star" "happiness is just a smile away" ........ and similar. I hope that's appropriate.
I am a bit concerned the quilt may end up a little too pretty; what do you think?

Photos are what I have made so far, and my coloured pencil plan (I haven't stitched the rows together yet) Hope the photos work.
