    I designed this quilt using the bow-tie block, hence the name "Life is Like a "Bow"l of Cherries. I used no-melt template plastic for the cherries. It was fun collecting a wide variety of 1930's reds to use in the quilt. An great project to take along with you as the snowball blocks were small and easy to carry in a bag for the applique part.
