    Local Quilt Show

My workplace hosts a quilt show each year around Mothers Day so I thought I would share some pics.

I work at a lavender farm and we utilise the drying shed for the quilt show. The quilts are hung from the wire mesh below the ceiling that we hang the lavender bunches from to dry, so it is virtually impossible to get them to hang straight. The lighting is also a bit difficult in areas.

Proceeds of the show go to either the local fire brigade or to breast cancer research - we alternate each year.

Deecee, what a fantastic idea for a quilt show, I really enjoy seeing quilts displayed in different locations/settings. Love the quilts, thank you so much for sharing.

So much talent in your guild's show. How fun to have it in a lavender drying barn. I am thinking it was a show that smelled as fabulous as the quilts.

We have a lavender farm here in Reno, Nv.. It is called lavender ridge and they sell the products online now. The main building is turned into a wedding party reception hall. Too bad I loved going there to buy products.

We take a diplomatic approach and just do a Viewer's Choice.
