    Default Long-Term Project

    Isn't this a boring block? Believe it or not it was made from a pack of charm squares. It was my first experience with pre-cuts way back around 2002. I was having trouble getting accurate cuts so when I saw the package of 5-inch squares I decided to give them a try. Strangely they were all plain and neutral fabrics. I've never seen a pack of charms like that before or since. After putting them together I knew they needed something but couldn't decide what.

    Fast forward about 10 years and I came across a striped border print that looked perfect. So I used it for sashing and this is what I've come up with. It's coming along. Still need to add the outer sashing and find border fabric. Hope it doesn't take another 10 years to find that!
