Default Looney Tunes preview

I have had this Looney Tunes fabric for several years, and I knew when I retired at the beginning of this year, I was really going to hit the stash, and get tops made. So, this fabric was at the top of the pile.

So, I cut out the 8 point star, which when put together, gives the visual effect of a kaliedescope, [not sure of spelling] and so I have gotten 9 of them sewn together. Only have 27 more to do. The blocks will measure 13 inches finished, so I will have enough to do 2 tops. I put the blocks against some dark green Christmas fabric from stash, which I like for contrast, and really think that I am using. It may be a couple months before I get them all put together and just wanted to share. Enjoy looking and will work hard to get the rest done, and post them.

I love the kaliedascope (spelling???) look, and this one of yours is going to be really nice. I like what you have done already.

Isn't it amazing how the blocks turn out, you would never guess what the original fabric is -- this is a really nice project!

I am a big fan of bugs bunny but I would not have given that fabric a second glance as I am not into very many novelty fabrics or fabrics that feature characters. But you have turned that fabric into something really special by making kaleidoscope stars with it and I love the result! What great vision you had for this fabric.
