I took a quick break from my longarming business to make a small wallhanging to send my son who is in a war zone right now. The fabric has Marine Corps motifs and the patches are from several of the his units. I micro-stippled the red areas so the compass points would stand out. The gold background was quilted with straight lined radiating out from the compass. The border was just meandered. I used Pellon Legacy cotton batting with Pellon Legacy wool batting on top and several different threads. I quilted this on my wonderful Prodigy quilting machine. Thanks for looking.
