Great wallhanging! I have this same panel ( 3 actually) and I was going to make it as a gift for some Air Force nurses I used to work with. This is stunning! I'm sure they appreciate it and it'll be a beautiful reminder of your friend! Sorry for your loss.

What a very appropriate tribute to your friend and to the hospice. The quilting is absolutely perfect too!

Ruth was right, poignant is the perfect word for this quilt. With just the right touch of personality. Well done!

So sorry to hear of the passing of your best friend. I think your quilt shows what is in your heart. Hospice cared for Shirley and you are showing them how much it meant to you that they were there to comfort you too. I love how you quilted this. Hugs to you.

Words can never express how we feel in our hearts. Your quilt is so much better than words. It's a tribute.... a lovely tribute to the love you have for your friend and the thanks you want to express to those that helped in your difficult hour. I send my sympathy as well. Losing those we love is so difficult. And the quilt is just beautiful.
