Default Book Shelf Memorial Wall Hanging

My friend's aunt lost her partner of 40+ years suddenly in April. Beth was a librarian and obviously a good one as she traveled the country, helping set up new ones and reorganizing already established ones. She was involved in many university libraries as well as state and federal ones. She was going to retire this summer and her and the Aunt had just bought a new home to retire in. The first thing that came to mind was a book case or shelf wall-hanging. Because both were avid readers, I asked for the names of 6 favorite books; 3 of the aunt's and 3 of Beth's. I then found the book titles on the internet, shrunk them down and printed them out on fabric (I'm sure I've broken some copyright laws here!) and used them on the "books" on the wall hanging. The large book to the right has a title on it that reads "In Loving Memory of Beth McNeer 1946 - 2013. I did trapunto behind the books so they were dimensional against the book case. I did some FMQ of wood grain in the background and if you look closely at the area between the 1st and 2nd book on the right, I did an outline of a cat, which Beth loved as much as books. The backing is the same as the woodgrain shelf and binding so it really resembles a bookcase. Thanks for looking!
