I have finally finished and given the quilt I made for a 4 year old who lost her mother this spring. I made her a cuddle quilt that I posted a while ago under" Mommy Hug Quilt" and now I've given her the quilt that will be used on her bed. Even though she's 4 now I wanted her to be able to use the quilt as she grew older, so I didn't make it too childish. Pink was the mother's favorite color and is also the color the child likes best.

What a wonderful thing you did for her. The quilt is just beautiful and I know it will be very much treasured. Thanks for sharing a picture of it.

Beautiful memories all wrapped in the little ones quilt.
Sad to read that a four year old has had the sorrow of losing her mum.
You have a loving heart to make such a quilt.

Joan, this is wonderful. I am sure this child will have fond memories for many years to come and be comforted by this wonderful quilt.
