    Default Mermaid quilt finished
    My grandaughter has a birthday this weekend and I just finished her requested mermaid quilt. Lots of love went into this one. Funny how intention makes the work lighter. I embroidered the designs using my Janome and Designs by JuJu. I did the free motion quilting and just kind of followed the designs in individual blocks. The back is the same as the binding, a bright turquoise batik, kind of looks like the sea.
