At last another one bites the dust. Been working on this one since we had a Ricky Tims Convergance tutorial at our sewing club. It started of as the square from that Tute and finished up like this.

GD Lydia is 4 yrs old and wanted a Mermaid on her quilt so it just evolved from her idea.

Thanks Melissa, it is one of the easiest so far, although it looks a lot of work, all those big borders made it grow fast. Its probably going to be dragged around the room a lot so I didn´´t put as much work into this one as others.

Oh I should have said the Seahorses are little buttons I bought as are the sea shells. they were expensive but added a litle something.

Hi Shellyp, The buttons came from a lady in England called "The Button Lady".....good name if not that obvious LOL. anyway I will go and look at her address and her telephone number. You can only order by telephone unfortunately, but if you really, really want some I can do it for you. WARNING they are not cheap. They work out at around 1 English Pound per button sorry I have a spannish keyboard and it doesn´t have all the signs).

Okay for your inteest it is

    The Button Lady
    16 Hollyfield Road South
    Sutton Coldfield
    West Midlands
    B76 1NX
Telephone (from American to England Code) 0121 329 3234
    Fax the same number.

Tell me what you want and I will look in the cataloge and tell you the prices, she has almost anything unusual you could possibley want.
