He sounds like a great guy.... and he dated your mom..... even more special. And the quilt is wonderful. What a tribute to his service and continued attention to those that have served. .... very sweet of you to do this for him.

Amazing quilt! Just a question, what was the method you used. On my computer screen the stitching has an amazing depth. What methods did you use?

Oh My God this is a FABULOS quilt. The eagle is my favorite but I live near Philadelphia so the Liberty Bell is also my favorite. The whole quilt is great. Thanks for posting this.

WOW, the quilt is absolutely amazing and what a wonderful thing for you to do. Yes, it's a very small world when it comes down to it. You just never know when you will run into someone who had met you or a member of your family years ago, and I think that's great.
