Imagine this...... I've known this gentleman for a couple of years now. He was in both the Army, and the Navy, and now he helps with all of the military funerals through our local VFW. It turns out that he had gone out on a date with my mother back in the late 1930's! I'm surprised that he could remember that, and even more amazed because neither one of us presently live in Pennsylvania, and that's here he met her all those years ago! Anyway, he is a wonderful guy, and I wanted to do something special for him, so I did a whole cloth quilt with some military quilting. I'll try to add a few pictures, and see what happens.....
Beautiful beautiful story!! It always amazes me how it can be such a small world, that we should happen to bump into someone that seems an unlikely opportunity. Love your quilt! Very sweet and generous of you. Thanks for sharing
