I finished the top last night & will be sending this off to Charisma for quilting. It is a Christmas gift for my mother & step-father who live on the water in Sausalito, Ca. I was inspired when I visited them this summer and knew they needed a watery lap quilt in the living room overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Eileen Wright's Surf Song was just what I had in mind but in a smaller size, which she offered. I had the pleasure of meeting her last week when she visited my LQS and showing her my work in progress! I loved doing this & think I will be making more of these... :D
