    Thanks so much to all of you who have commented on my avatar. I made this as a Christmas gift to my mother about 10 years ago. I found the pattern in a magazine and cannot remember now which one. If I were making this again I would use a little bigger size doilies for the white fans. They were a little tricky to work with but if you starch them heavily they don't unravel while you are sewing. When I dig through the old photos I will look for the pic of the full quilt and post it. thanks again for all the wonderful comments. PS the doll's clothes were made by my aunt who makes and sells American Girl doll clothes.
