Default Montana Flutter

Last summer, on vacation in Kalispell, Montana, we happened on a quilt shop. Found this wonderful fabric designed by the owner with local plants. A local quilter also designed this pattern, so I put them together. Background fabric came from a shop in Graham, WA, near the school where my daughter teaches. So this is my memory quilt from a wonderful trip. Hope you like it. I FMQed it on my Janome MC9000.

Thank you! I thought they were butterflies, though some people who see it claim they are not. Art doesn't always mimic reality.

One of the most unique and nicest quilts I've seen! I want to get up close and personal and check out the fabric and your quilting!

Beautiful fabric! I also thought butterflies but after really looking at them they might be moths. Whatever they are they make a gorgeous, and very unique quilt! what a wonderful memory!
