In general I don't care for butterfly patterns in fabric or quilt design. But these butterflies are wonderful! The border fabric is very nice;subtle with a whole bunch of great colors. Nice work and what a great reminder of a successful trip!

I really like it the colors are so soothing and the butterflies are magnificent.

My goodness! I haven't looked at this thread in a few days and am so suprised at the response. Thank you very much. The shop is called Quilt Gallery, owner Joan Hodgeboom. Here is their website: http://quiltgallery.net/ The fabrics, which she designed, are called Montana Memories by Island Batiks and is excellent quality to work with. Comes in a number of colors, but I had such fun picking these. The pattern is called Butterfly Ballet by Random Threads. The shop in WA is Creative Quilter, actually in Graham WA. My DD lives in Puyallup and has been telling me about it since she moved there. Oh, and to the person who took a class with Ruth McDowall - she is retiring soon and they are doing a tribute to her. See the website. I plan to enter this in the Billings Farm quilt exhibit, Woodstock VT, which runs from August through September every year. If you are in the area, this is a great exhibit and I always feel humbled to be included. Not really a contest, though they have viewer's choice and jury choice.
