I found some yellow and some really bright orange in my stash. So, I decided to make a few with the yellow being the larger star and blue as the smaller star with green and burnt orange square in center. Then I'll use the bright orange for sashing.

That should liven it up. It's all cut out now and I'm back to the drawing board on this one.

I'll post when I have a few more blocks done. :D

Can't wait to see what you decide on :D:D:D
Yep, Jacob loves it. It's been sitting on a shelf for a bit and now I want to quilt it on my machine, so I'm grateful to be finishing it. I tried to rotate the stars, but the four corners are directional and it got really busy looking. Hope my new additions cheer this side up a bit.

Almost done with four more blocks, I'll post them later. I think I've spent more time ripping on these stars than all my others put together! I'm almost out of jungle fabric, so will have to improvise.

The attempt at completing this as a backing for the motorcycle quilt failed terribly. See post "Ugliest I've made yet". I just plum gave up on this one. I may try to use the star blocks as a stand alone quilt as soon as I can buy the right shade of green where the background Jungle fabric can get lost in, lol. I will try a regular backing for this quilt and I wanted to quilt it on my machine at home, wish me luck!

You know, at the very beginning I thought I would have just used a regular backing fabric but I wasn't brave enough to post that! I think you'll be a lot happier with a regular backing.
