Default Mount your horses, please!

I ventured a try at some fmq and thread painting with this. I had fused the flowers on to the orange fabric a long time ago, not knowing what I was going to do with it. I just did it for fun. Then after I made the little snowman quilt for my quilt hanger, my daughter suggested I make a little quilt out of the flowers. So it grew from there. Hope you like it. Just stay on that horse while you're looking!

That will be a great spring wall hanging after such a cold winter!!! Glad your daughter egged you on to finish it.

Great beginning! Thread painting is one of those tools that I think it would be marvelous to have, it opens up unlimited possibilities. Wish I had the guts to try it.

Cute!! Did you glue your fabrics or use fusible?

Thank you. I fused the fabric on & then sewed around the edges, of everything except the leaves. Now I'm wondering if I need to sew them, because one came loose. Emma, you should try it, it is so much fun. The grass was easy.

Great job and nice to let a quilt take you on a journey. Thanks for sharing.
